The Mouse House is keen on getting another installment of "Enchanted" on the big screen -- perhaps even as early as next year -- after the 2007 pic, that starred Amy Adams, James Marsden, Patrick Dempsey and Susan Sarandon, earned more than $340 million worldwide. It earned $123 million domestically and helped break out Amy Adams. Bill Kelly ("Blast from the Past") penned the original.

First film had languished in development for years as filmmakers like Sonnenfeld struggled with a way to tackle the pic's comedic tone, musical numbers and blend of animation and live action sequences.

Fletcher is a choreographer-turned-director who has had a string of hits with "Step Up," "27 Dresses" and the romantic comedy "The Proposal," the latter of which earned $315 million worldwide for Disney last summer.

"Enchanted 2" fits perfectly with the studio's plans to make more movies that define the Disney brand. Project is Disney's riff on its classic fairy tale features, revolving around Giselle, a princess who is banished from her animated world by an evil queen and thrown onto the live action streets of Manhattan to fend for herself.

Studio will likely try to bring back the first film's stars.

Je mehr Filme mit Patty desto besser auch wenn dann wohl erstmal seine Rennkarriere noch etwas zurück stecken muss.

Wollte er nicht eigentlich auch schon zwischendurch mit der Regie zu "The Art of Racing in the rain" angefangen haben ??

Ich find leider die Seite nicht mehr, aber ich meine mich daran erinnern zu können, dass sie dieses Jahr noch mit der Produktion anfangen wollen. Oder war das der andere Film mit der Bank?!?

Aber je mehr Filme, umso besser. Zumal er versuchen will, dass er Rennen fahren darf, wenn der Film in die Drehphase geht.

Hmmh schade, aber was hat es den mit dem Film mit der Bank auf sich ?? Habe davon leider gar nichts mit bekommen :( Auch wenn man ihn dann leider nur hinter der Kamera sieht :(

Also wenn ich mich recht entsinne, soll er in dem Bankfilm in eine Angestellte verknallt sein. Natürlich wird dann die Bank überfallen, wenn er gerade drin ist oder er soll seine Angebetete nur retten.

Ich muss mal suchen gehen, was da passieren soll. Hab mir das nicht so genau gemerkt.

Das wäre sehr nett , da ich wie gesagt, überhaupt nichts mitbekommen habe, aber was der Mann für die nächsten 1-2 Jahre geplant hat...hut ab...oder aber es gibt doch irgendwo heimliche Patty-Klone und wenn ja dann will ich auch einen

Ansonsten hoffe ich, dass er Filho vielleicht was falsches gegessen hat und er Patty kurzfristig verwechselt hat...

Egoli Tossell, Warners in Germany and Bac subsidiary Manny Films will co-produce the films, budgeted at €11 million ($14 million) apiece. Principle photography on the first entry, "Hector's Journey or the Search for Happiness" is set to begin in January, with shooting planned in China, Southeast Asia, South Africa, Germany and California.

Warners likely will release the films in German-speaking Europe through its current agreement with Egoli Tossell.

Maria von Heland, who penned the script to Egoli Tossell's "Hilde," has delivered a screenplay for the first "Hector." A director and cast are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
